Booting Problems
with the Lombard or Pismo try the following:
During long periods without power the Powerbook may not power up
correctly. This can occur during shipping when the main battery and the
pram battery discharge. The way around this is to take out the main
battery (there's a little tab on the left front corner that pulls out )
Once the battery is out Plug the AC adapter in.

Turn powerbook around and locate the reset button. Push and hold reset button for 5 seconds ( DO NOT HOLD LONGER)
Turn Powerbook back around and hit main power button. It may take 15-20 seconds but you should hear a tone.
You can plug in battery as Powerbook will now boot up. Once it has been plugged in for a day or so the pram battery will recharge.
